Well, I wasn't going to buy one, but was at Infosec Europe the other week and the Barracuda Networks stall had the Guitar Hero 2 gave as its draw. So obviously I had to win it (knew that practice would come in handy) but now I have it installed I see there are many config options, one of which is a Sony friends online thingy. Any one else use that? We could collect the Sony equivalent of empeg wii miis... --- For easy reference, all Playstation Network names are here --- drakino drakino

Congrats on winning one. The main issue against it is price, so you skipped right past that :-)
Pick up fl0w off the online store. It's a rather interesting little game, very relaxing to play. There is a video trailer of it on the store as well for a preview.

I actually don't have my Sony friends thing setup, but I hear they have made it pretty convenient to chat with people.
I'm still a bit disappointed with the lack of games but there are a few good ones out there. If you're into racing games, Motorstorm is insanely fun.

Definitely sign up and onto the store then if you like realistic racing games. Grand Turismo HD is a free download off the store. I'm not very good at it myself, always preferred the arcade style racers to realistic ones.

Is it still available online for free? I know I played it online somewhere like four months ago (I really didn't mean that to be as much of a dig on the PS3 as it sounded, I swear).
It really is a cool game, though. I bet it would look sweet on a big screen instead of a little flash window.

The PS3 version is a bit more in depth, with 6 different creatures you can control, some "powerups" of sorts, co-op multiplayer support, and control via motion sensing of the controller. http://intihuatani.usc.edu/cloud/flowing/ is the online flash version.

Very Cool. I'll have to look around. And I've just spent 20 quid on getting two controller adapters so my PS2 games like Guitar Hero to work on it (just converts to USB) so I'll be able to retire the PS2 back to its real owner ( he has got very into PC games so not missed it yet  )

Boo. I had a go at that as well Although I do already have a PS3...
I'll have to go home and see what I set my ID as.

I mostly play Rock Band 2 and Burnout: Paradise. I just picked up Buzz Quiz TV, which is really fun, though I wish the user-created quizzes could have more than 8 questions and/or lasted more than one round.
