So, I'm trying with Win XP B.2485 , I like it in some aspects but don't like some others. Many hardware compatibility problems, although in general, everything is fine right now. One week with the comp on and no crashes is something absolutely impossible with win9x and so, but not an issue with XP so far.
Well, my question is: has anyone tested the emplode and other empeg-related soft under XP? will it work properly?
(yes yes, I'm a music and Hi-Fi guy, not a Linux one, so don't come to me with Linux recomendations. I'm sure I' ll try it, when there'll be full compatibility with all my games and stuff)

I ran emplode 1.02 fine on Whistler Beta 2. No problems seen, so it should still work fine.

What would I use for drivers for the empeg for USB in whistler Beta 2?

I am assuming ethernet still works.?

You shouldn't have to "use" anything, installing emplode should put the drivers in the right place so they get loaded automatically when you connect your empeg.

By what I remember, I just installed emplode and it worked. Including the install of the USB driver. Ir's possible the underlying driver system changed a bit to the point where emplodes installer won't install the driver properly. I'll test it again once RC1 is released and I have the new CD's.
