Does anyone know where to find pricing for that Andrea Electronics mic array that empeg reccomended? It's hard enough finding info on their site about it. They don't have it in their online store for some reason.

Are you just trying to up the number of posts you have, or what? I mean really, asking a question and then answering it yourself :) Not that the info wasn't usefull...

That's the best way to up your posts. I mean look at what you just did :P or I for that matter *smacks himself*

However, on the same note. It is good information. I really like how it looks, and I've been looking into a hands free solution for my car lately, as my mother has as well. This product looks like it would be a great match to what I'm looking for. I just couldn't find it to buy on their page or a MSRP :/

Actually right now I'm just planning for cell phone usage. However, when and if VR will come out, I also plan on using it for that as well.

Hey guys, take it easy

The first post was made while looking through Andrea Electronics' website for information on that mic because I already knew it existed. It was linked in a post by Hugo a looong while back because it was the mic specifically suggested by empeg. Try going to AE's site and finding that page I linked. You'll find it's quite hard. I didn't find it until after I posted the first time. Yeah I could have edited the first post. don't know why i didnt'

Besides, check out the user list. I'm #7 by almost 200 posts. I don't want to up myself anymore than I am. I certainly don't want more posts than tanstaafl, 'cause he's actually knowledgable and helpful

Actually I have kind of a problem with the way the whole ranking system in the first place. I mean come on! I was number 700 something on the waiting list, have a mk1 serial number 73, and a mk2 sn 358. I only speak up when I have something interesting (to me) or witty (to me) to contribute. But this thing says I'm a newbie! Sigh. TANJ. So I guess I have to either not worry about it, or post inane messages like this one.

yeah, I think 41 posts is alot for a "newbie".

What would be cool is if there were a ranking system based on time since registered, coupled with the number of posts.

oh well, it's up to PaulH and the good folks at wwwthreads
