For most things local I've started frequently using Google Maps as a starting point, especially in Android. Frequently, even on the PC, corporate websites are horribly designed.
A prime example: go to the
Corner Bakery website. Here's where it becomes difficult to defend Flash, when it's used to that extent. Anyway, I've had their own site take me to a place where they didn't have a store. So instead I just used Google Maps.
On the other hand, I've had Google Maps lead me astray. I searched for Target once, and it took me to a residential neighborhood.
