What I mean is, you loaded your empeg with all kind of music. For some reason (new girlfriend) the playlist of the other driver needs to be changed/created. Without going through the complete tree in emplode, listen to all songs on the empeg and decide per song if it should be included in the playlist or not. You could set a mode "playlist editing" and use two buttons on the remote for include/remove operation. A third button to end the whole process and name the playlist, which then shows up as a root-playlist. I think it is a handy option. Play all songs. Press buttons whether you like or dislike the played song and in the end save all the wanted songs in a playlist.

Oh well, just a thought...

Greetings!

The ability to "mark" a track for later review is in 1.1.

You really cannot create new playlists on the fly like that, because the disks are mounted as read only.

There is also the "Wendy Filter" option that allows you to specify a group of songs that will not be visible in standard playlists. You can use this to hide specific songs, so that they are not visible unless an option is set.

Not quite what you are looking for, but it comes close. This has been mentioned on the board before, but I did not find it with a quick search. It is here, somewhere...

In 1.1, you will be able to search for and insert songs.

This isn't creating playlists (you can't do that because the player is read-only when in the car to protect the disks), but it allows you to cue up stuff for your G/F without affecting the current playlist.

For instance, you can be listening to your hip-hop playlist, and she wants to hear some Ricky Martin, you can go into "Insert by artist" and the next group of songs will all be Ricky Martin. When the Ricky Martin is done playing, then it'll go back to playing hip-hop like it did before.
