I have an absolutely stunning photo of the recent lunar eclipse. Unfortunately, I cannot claim it as my own. It was taken by Jurek Zarzycki, a member of the camera club I belong to. He has given me permission to share it with others who would like to see it, but I don't feel that permission encompasses posting it on the internet.

If anybody would like to see this picture, PM me with an email address and I will send it to you. I only have a low-resolution (800 x 535) copy of the picture, about 100 KB, but it will take your breath away nonetheless.

Trust me that it is worth looking at.

Here's my non-stunning one taken with something like a 6s exposure and a rebel xti. Just propped the camera up on my fence and used the self-timer so I wouldn't wobble it more... thing is, it's not totality as the cloud arrived just then - the gaps in the cloud even when I took this one were only about 5 seconds long frown
