I just installed IE9, and just for the heck of it, tried it on this BBS. I got the following behavior:

- Reach BBS home page.
- Press LOG IN link.
- Enter my credentials.
- Credential entry successful. Main BBS page shows me logged in.
- Ctrl-click on a forum to get the forum to open in a new tab.
- In that new tab, Ctrl-click on several new/unread threads within that tab to make more new tabs, one for each thread.
- In each thread tab, read them.
- Go to reply to one of them.
- Realize that I'm not logged in and can't reply on that tab.

Anyone else see that behavior in IE9?

Just cleaned out all cookies and history and temp folder, now all is working under IE9.

Never mind.

IE9 seems totally unreilable to me. I am constantly having a problem where websites just hang and don't load. Load it in Chrome works fine. Restart IE9 works fine. What a nightmare IE9 is going to be to support.

Not IE9 but IE8 on Windows 7 did the exact same thing for me. I read forums exactly the same way.

Clearing cookies didn't always work for me though. Since then it has been working fairly well though.
