I have a problem. My Empeg hangs right after applying power.
The Empeg logo shows, and then the display reads:
Loading Tags
Loadinf music databases...
Loading playlist database
Building playlist...

This is all it shows. I have left it on for 3 hours, but nothing happens.

Here is what i did:

1. I upgraded to beta8c, this went ok.
2. I played some songs with beta8c.
3. Decided to upload some new tunes.
4. The upload process crashed with an errormessage. (Bummer, didn't read this one)
5. I hit cancel, emplode could'nt communicate.
6. Power off/on.
7. Here I am, no Empeg.

Anyone who seen something like this.

Did you use the new emplode tool to perform the Empeg upgrade?
When I upgraded the Empeg's software using the old emplode, it also hang. Upgraded again with the new (matching) Emplode version and it came alive again !

(Yes, I did read the instructions, but apparently not carefully enough )

But I have used the latest emplode. ( I Even deleted the old one and reinstalled
the newest one, just to be sure.)

I hooked it up with the serialport, and there is a lot of text coming there.
