That's true, I'm basically doing that now.

I hadn't thought about this, but I'm curious about what they'd call this. Will it be their "unlimited unlimited" plan? smile

I don't know the usage details of the other phone(s) in your family plan, but T-Mobile is about to do 2 lines unlimited (each with 5GB tethering) for $100. $40 per line after the initial two. Seems like something to consider switching to if you're paying $60 for 3GB now.

This is strange to me, since this is basically what I've had for over a year. $80 for two lines plus $20 each for unlimited data.

So you're paying $120/month for 2 lines unlimited? The new promotion would be $100/month.

You're likely grandfathered with an old rate. Unlimited data was a $20 add-on when T-Mobile started offering the Simple Choice plans. It's now a $30 add-on. At yesterday's rates, that would have made the 2-line unlimited family plan $140 per month.

Yeah, I think you're right. I wonder if I could get in on the $100/mo vs. the $120 I'm paying now. Hmmmm....

Yep, just call up T-Mobile, or log in to their site to change your plan to that deal.

One of their "un-carrier" moves is to offer promotions to everyone, not just new customers.
