I've failed to get CarPlay to run on my Empeg. . As a result it's be retired from vehicle use. Currently it is dockless on my desk, but if someone in US/Canada has one collecting dust I can surely give it use and love. Please PM me with your needs. Thanks!

Side note: My IR remote appears to have died. It has no control, yet takes good batteries (3v) and makes them bad batteries (1.7v). Planning to get another off eBay (<$20), unless there is reason/fix I've overlooked. Thoughts?

You misunderstand (though I can see how my post could be misconstrued), I’m not looking to sell my empeg. Just want to pickup a home dock. I have sentimental attachment to my player, and still use it daily at my desk and appreciate its quality, although dated, engineering. BTW, ordered a remote for $15 on eBay, hoping that will sort out my only issue with it.
