My idea is very simple (dont laugh at me)

The Native Audio is MP3. OK

Many Mp3 Broadcast server can be found over Internet.

There is also Ethernet Capacities for Empeg.

Why noy imagine we could add (like playlist and tunes ) a list of bookmarks for Outcast (!!!) servers.

The main idea is to choose an address for a brodcast server from a list and then via Network listen to Music.


What do you think of my Idea ?

We have shoutcast streaming running in-house, but it's more likely that it will be integrated into specific home products than the automotive line.

A while back I hacked up the MAD mp3 decoder to play shoutcast streams on my empeg. I started to get PPP going with the Ricochet so that it would work while driving and then they went out of business.
