Hi, just a question about storage of my empeg when not in use, I'll be putting it into my Empeg case and then putting it into my laptop bag, while I'm at work, which sits vertically on the floor. Is it ok to store the empeg vertically?

cheers,
Jaidev

there's no reason you can't store it vertically. It's just got laptop drives in it, so that's no problem, but now that i think about it, the shock mounts might be effected by vertical storage over a LONG period of time, but it shouldn't be a concern... the drives are light enough and the mounts solid enough to where i don't think it would warp the shockmounts at all.... hmm.

What's everyone think?

I'm thinking the shock mounts will crumble before they take any obnoxious set.

Besides doncha think, any one who would store an empeg that long deserves what they get.

Yes, it is absolutely fine to store it at any angle. As long as the drives are spun down, there is no chance of hurting it.

Just don't play it vertically. Play it flat or at a slight leaning-back angle (as if it were in the dash of your car).
