Im partway through installation of my EMPEG, in my Mazda 323 Familia Hatch 89, new shape BG Model.
I am doing documentation with pictures, just trying to find a suitable place to host the files and web page on.

I was a bit concerned about the mounting angle because Im going to mount it where drinks tray and pocket is, will remove these. This leaves a Double DIN size hole to mount whatever. The angle to my rough calculations is about 12 degrees, whats a good way to measure the mount angle? I used a protracter, but couldn't get it accurate.
or if anyone has this car.... what would you think the mount angle is?

I don't have your type of car but you can get a short (pen sized) spirit level and use the protractor or you can get angle measuring spirit levels.

Remind me, what is the mounting angle range?

The mouting angle range is supposed to be between 8 - 16 degrees inclusive.

Wonder if a little more than this, i.e. 16 - 20 degrees can damage anything?

Looks fine to me. The disk tray in the empeg is mounted on an angle partly in anticipation of situations like this. From your photo it looks like the disks would almost be sitting level, which is the ideal situation. (you can get an idea of the angle the disk(s) in the empeg sit at by looking at the disk tray mounting screws on the side)
