I can't remember seeing this before so here goes...

Say you have a playlist with your 'Rock' tunes, you press down on 'Rock' and get the following:

> Artist1 Artist2 ...

with the selector on the '>'.

If you press right-right-down very quickly you can get it to display the content of Artist1 but with the line above (and behind the main display) saying you're watching Artist2. The current line is right as selecting something will play that selection (not one from Artist2).

This is actually a long-standing bug where it's possible for your selections to "get ahead" of the graphics. As I recall, Rob Schofield pointed it out to the developers over a year ago. Dunno why it's not fixed in 1.03 (assuming you're using 1.03)...

Maybe it'll be fixed in 2.0...

Anyway, when I showed it to Mike last October (!), he said he understood the bug, and it would be fixed in 1.1 (that's what it was called back then) because there was a pretty extensive rewrite of the menu code.

BTW, I was encountering the problem when listening in shuffle mode. Sometimes I'd want to hear the next song on a playlist, so I'd hit down-right-down-right-down-right-down. There was also a bug where I could get Info:Track to show the wrong track's info, but I don't remember if I got that the same way, or if there was some other aberrant behavior on my part that would cause that.

Yes, it is fixed in 2.0. It's even in the release notes
