After getting Emplode 2.0, I (of course) discover that I have a
lot of duplicate tracks on my player. These have been put into
different playlists, using the "wrong" method of downloading a new file each time.

What I now would wish to do, is to get a list of tunes, for instance like in the "All tracks" view. Mark a couple of tunes here, and choose "combine" or something like that, which will remove all but one of the marked tracks, and make the others references to the one that's left. This would save probably 25% of the space in my player.

I second this (or perhaps a little bit simpler 'replace all references to this track with that'). Then I would not need reverse playlist/track cross-reference (show all playlists that reference this track) so bably.
