I really like the new shuffle options in 2.0b3. What I would really like to see is:

- Ability to define/mark favorites, like the TiVo thumbs up concept, or maybe do this with special playlists
- Choose a shuffle mode that would mix different groups, configurable in a percentage.

For example, as each new song is chosen on the shuffle, they are chosen with a given probability. I would program mine like this:
- %30 from favorite list
- %30 from least-recently-played
- %20 from least-often played
- %20 totally random

There could be one user-defined shuffle mode to be set up in Emplode.

I think that user-defined shuffles are actually possible in 2.0 right now by doing some cute edits in config.ini. I think we forgot to tell everyone about it.

I forget how they're done. Someone from Empeg, please post the docs on that? I'll add them to the FAQ at riocar.org.

Yes, there's an entire other thread on the subject somewhere around here, where it's completely explained.

Unless it's also going into emptool, I'd claim there's a case it should be written up on riocar.org somewhere anyway (though probably not in the FAQ section...)
