Has there been any progress with getting the makeupgrade source released? Since there have been alot of beta upgrade releases recently, I'd like to be able to pack all my customizations into my own .upgrade file so I don't have to manually go in and re-do everything after flashing to the latest beta.

Oh also, have you ever considered putting the source to "player" on a public CVS somewhere? I've got some ideas for cool visuals I'd like to experiment with ;)
