My player has somehow lost the data in the config.ini file. It just pulls up this in Emplode:
; ???

Could someone post the text that is supposed to be here so I can resync it to the player.

Did you install Displayserver 2.0b2?

I have had DisplayServer installed prior to v2. But have not messed with the unit with anything except Emplode and installing v62 Hijack. The data was there yesterday. I had just added new remote codes. Today gone.

P.S. I would like for Displayserver to work again.

Just delete everything, sync, then use the "File->ConfigurePlayer" menu to set up the basic information again [untried, but probably what needs doing].

I have also noticed Emplode sometimes adding garbage to the end of config.ini, especially whenever there are lines that are not in "standard syntax" (something=value).

That worked. I had reinstalled beta2, but that didn't fix it. Deleted the garbage and synced. When it came back it was there.

Thanks for the suggestion.
