I dont have a mk2 yet ( i have, but its 8000km away :-| )
so: how does the ethernet sync work ?
Is syncing now possible with all network devices ?
then irda (over ppp) sync should not be a problem...
I am interested in that too :-)
(I know irda is slow and can cause many problems during sensitive operations like a sync)

Ethernet sync uses IP (static IP or broadcast).
I see no reason why it should not work over any
IP enabled interface. I seem to remember someone
attempting to run IP over USB?
