drakino carpal tunnel Registered: 08/06/1999 Posts: 7868	Does the LED in the unit have a dev entry or does it hang off the /dev/display somehow? (Or something else?) I would like to be able to take control of just the LED while the player is active for a few possible things. Reg 1640, 6gb Blue empeg-car mark 1. SN 00359

altman carpal tunnel Registered: 19/05/1999 Posts: 3457 Loc: Palo Alto, CA	No, the display and LED are mutually exclusive, ie if the display is on the led is off (unless your hardware is broken). The LED is controlled by the display PIC, which is rather busy when the display is running :) Hugo
