tonyc carpal tunnel Registered: 27/06/1999 Posts: 7058 Loc: Pittsburgh, PA	This is a complete pipe dream, but I wish that /dev/audio could accept audio writes in formats other than 44.1 khz stereo. altman carpal tunnel Registered: 19/05/1999 Posts: 3457 Loc: Palo Alto, CA	No plans; the place for sample rate conversion is really in user-space, as decent SRC uses a non-trivial amount of CPU time. You could probably find some SRC code about and put it inbetween your non-44k1 app and /dev/dsp? Hugo
