Title says it all. This has been the behavior since dirt, so this isn't related to 2.0b7. It's probably a feature rather than a bug but I'm curious why they need to be spun up the whole time. Since we like to save our precious laptop drives maybe they could stay spun down until you sync or do something which requires a read or write?
