I had an idea that wouldn't be too hard to program. I was thinking about it but being as i dont have my empeg yet I decided to post to see if anyone else has had or accomplished the idea. Anyways, many people have made startup menu's with personal info. My idea is to show a personal information image when a certian series of buttons were pressed (hold next while turning the volume, not nessesarily those buttons). This would make the startup screen nice to look at.

So instead of seeing and image with a bunch of information, it could show your image and then on the bottom say: press "these keys" to show owner information.

'About' screen (accessible from menu) already shows owner info. People put 'This unit belongs to...' on startup screen just to annoy thieves.

Ahh I see. Sorry about the useless post ; ). I don't have the empeg yet and im already trying to make features for it.
Now if only i could get them to ship it out before the 3rd. hehe

Yeah it will take you an age to find all the features and once you have they stick in a few more just to keep you on your toes
