The point is, there is a small amount of stock left in the UK which will be sold soon enough. Why would I spend money FedEx'ing it to the USA just for it to be oversold in the first five minutes and create even more resentment? ..Not that the eStore manager is even going to accept a small batch of accessories for a discontinued product.

I also intend to keep back a quantity of cases to throw at people at owner meets (I'd throw players, but they might injure someone).

Finally, as a UK consumer, I quite like the idea that something is available everywhere but the USA. If you lived here you'd understand why

You / we probably can. I have ordered & received Empeg stuff from the UK store before, no problem. Should still work (?)

But then.. I already have an Empeg carry case, courtesy of Rob (a while back when they sent some old stock gratis to owners).

Well Rob, to make you feel better, me and many of my friends have been jealous of you guys for: all the CD singles you have with rare remixes that we end up paying $25+ as an import (but I have to state that I think the reason so many CD Singles are made in the UK is silly), the Subaru WRX STi and UK300, the Ford Cosworth Escort and Focus RS, the much more powerful VW's (with 4wd) and Audi's, all the cool WRC races that only recently do we get on TV, the "page 3" girls, the MUCH better Guiness beer, Stone Henge, the Loch Ness monster, the Beatles and Monty Python.

edit: and the fact that with your accent, you can say just about ANYTHING and sound sophisticated!

Man. I realy wish I could get another carrying case for my wifes empeg. If they will nto be sold in the US then I've gotta find another way for her to lug that thing around.

My empeg came with a softcase, but that was a limited promotion... wasn't sure if that was still going. There were also free cases given to certain owners who participated in an interview after the SB buy..

Yea, those are the type of case I currently have for my empeg. The nice soft blue perfect fit case with the empeg logo on the front pocket. I would like another for my new RioCar I just got for my wife but from the looks of it there will be no way to get one as I'm in the US. =(

I'm thinking about picking up one of these sweet hard cases that I saw on Steve Hartman's empeg site. It looks like you could run over that thing with a tank and not damage it. I found one using mysimon for $69.95.

Yea those hard cases are very nice.

Although I would just like the small and soft case that easier to carry around and put into a backback or something. This is for my wife and I don't think that when shes at school she'll want to carry around that big hard case. At least with the small one she will be able to but it in her backpack and easly carry it around with her.

If anyone wants to take mercy on my poor soul and sell me a softcase at a resonable price please do leave me a msg or something. =)
