I found out about the sale pretty late in the game, placed my order for a 10GB RioCar within 30 minutes of finding out about it (I started placing the order instantly -- 30 minutes was how long it took me to fight my way through SBs e-store and ordering policies!).

12/25/01 01:10pm Pacific Time: Place order with Sonic Blue. (No messages about "out of stock")
12/28/01 12:00pm Pacific Time: Website says order is "....pending something-or-other"
12/31/02 12:00pm Pacific Time: See 12/28/01.
01/02/02 02:00pm Pacific Time: Credit Card company says no Sonic Blue charges.
01/02/02 02:01pm Pacific Time: Officially give up hope of receiving 10GB RioCar
01/02/02 18:34pm Pacific Time: e-mail arrives from Sonic Blue confirming shipment of 10GB RioCar player
01/02/02 21:30pm Pacific Time: I discover and read email. Get excited. Post this message to bbs.

I suspect that mine was probably one of the very last ones to ship. But it would appear that anybody who placed an order prior to the beginning of Christmas Day on the West Coast will probably get theirs.

Have there been any shipping confirmations for orders received by Sonic Blue after 1:00 am Pacific Time on 12/25?

12/24/01 placed 2nd order for empeg with tuner and extra sled
12/2701 recieve tracking numbers for order #2
02/01/02 receive 2nd order with tuner and sled!!
