What are people doing to set up telnet or ssh or some form of ip based remote access for the empeg to get to the shell. While the serial cable works... i hate moving that thing around.

I just have another cable at the other computer. In fact, I have a complete compliment of cables at each computer: Audio, Serial, Ethernet, USB, and power.

I'm trying to get it hooked up to my Sun's serial port, but am having some trouble with the faster speeds (the Sun's fault, really). If you have a computer that's always or usually up and it's running an OS that allows remote logins, you should be able to hook it up to that computer's serial port and access it through that machine's remote login feature.
