Now that Mark has put a small pop-up window on the bootup screen its easy to know what version of Hijack you are running if you are looking during bootup.

I was wondering if it would be an idea to also have an 'about Hijack' menu item in the HIjack Menu that also shows this version info as sometimes I forget what version of Hijack I have installed [and sometimes even if its the same as the current latest one availale or not].
and also to write the Hijack version info out during bootup so that its available in the /proc/kmsg 'file' so that we don't have to go scrabbling for the version numbe - its ina machine readable format somewhere.

Quickent way I have used since v7 to know that I have it to startup breakout, and let the ball drop. It displays "Game over" then the version number before going back to the player.

Yeah, that's how I justify the kernel space taken up by Break-Out.. it's my version number display thingie.
