Got my Empeg from SonicBlue 2 weeks ago. Could only afford a 10 gig at the time. I'm going to add a 2nd 20 gig ibm drive tonite, to total 30gig.
I read thru the faq pretty good, seems easy enough to just add a 2nd drive.
Just wondering if anyone has any tips or tricks not listed in the FAQ.

I've done my best to make the drive upgrade guide as complete as possible. In theory, it's all you should need.

Yeah, the FAQ is all you'll need. I followed it to the letter and my install went seamlessly. It's very well written. *tips hat to Tony*

I do have one question though. my original 10 gig drive had consumer version of 2.0b7 , and the 2nd drive i just added i put developer version on it.
Should i swap them out and put the developer version on both drives? does it matter? I wont lose any data on my original drive if i change to developer will i?

Well, that upgrade went very smooth, no problems at all.
My 10gig empeg is now upgraded to 30gig.
Should last me a while..
