1) What is the best way to lock down ftpd for some level of user authentication? As long as the file systems were left read only, I didn't have a problem with people exploring. But with the ability to change to read / write, I would like to be able to lock write access down if possible.

2) Has anyone else been seeing "A network error occurred while Netscape was receiving data. (Network error: Connection reset by peer) Try connecting again." messages from Netscape while browsing the player? I do not have the same symptoms in IE. There, I occasionally get a blank page (just the header and the footer).

I am running 2.0b7 with hijack 124 on an empeg Mark2 with 96GB and a ReserveCache=32 in config.ini.
