I'm running Beta 8C, and there's something about Shuffle play that doesn't seem quite right to me.

Suppose I'm shuffle-playing a large playlist that represents several albums by the same artist. I hear a certain song, and I realize, "I like this song, but the NEXT song on this album is really great. In fact this album sounds extra good when you play the songs in order."

Now, if it were a CD changer, I'd simply shut off the Shuffle-play feature. It would complete the current song, then roll on to the next song on that album and it would continue playing the songs in order for the rest of the album.

But the Empeg doesn't seem to do that. It seems to only shuffle/unshuffle the songs at the moment I start a playlist. If I want to hear a playlist unshuffled, I not only have to turn off shuffle play, but I need to select that playlist again.

It would be nice if it worked more like a CD player, so that when I turn off shuffle play, it immediately unshuffles the current playlist.
