I am thinking about getting two tuner modules, placing them very close to one another in a dark quiet room overnight together. I may put a bottle of wine and some soft music on for them, I haven't decided yet. My thinking is that the next day I may have several smaller tuner modules....If this works, I will be selling them on ebay for $25 dollars each...

Don't be absurd!

The gestation period of a tuner module is two months.

Then he's SOL. I don't think there's a tuner out there that's even reached his first year yet.

I understand tuner modules like pandas are very hard to mate in captivity. But give it a try.

It only works when you have one with the weather band chip and one without. The offspring then have a 50/50 chance to have either dominant trait. I am scared to even thing what recessive traits may show.

My girlfriend suggested to me that I should get two Kiss Kiss bears from Hallmark (From the Valentine's day collection) and give them to the tuner module (without the weather band chip) and say they were from the tuner module (with the weather band chip). I don't think that will help, but she keeps insisting....I was just going to try and get both tuners piss drunk, but she keeps telling me to take the gift approach. So far, no luck... I agree. I think this is disgusting. Where's Mary Whitehouse when you need her?

Tony (Fabris), can't you do something about this filth?

Sorry, It told me that the "maximum edit time has expired" so I cannot remove my own post. You can have the administrator erase the message and then call the cybercops if you like. Tell them that there is a horrible picture of two teddy bears and some electronics equipment posted...

Well I suppose it could be worse. The Teddy Bears do at least have some clothing on so they're not completely naked. Oh No!! I said that word .

There might be a special tuner to tuner cable required for tuner sex. I bet the guys at empeg would know how to reproduce tuners!

and only if the two modules are consenting adults of opposite sex,

How can you tell which one is the opposite sex?

My tuner does have the antenna connector sticking out of it -- so is it male? But the antenna connector has a center receptacle in it, which seems more female.

Does that mean my tuner is a hermaphrodite?

(...the rest of you can look it up when you get home)

I'm guessing the adapter that shipped with it must come into play somehow. (Isn't the use of the adapter covered in the documentation somewhere?)

Send your tuners to me and I'll mate them with a stud for a small fee.

Or you could try crossing a tuner with the empeg and come out with a super-unit. Then you could cross the super-unit with a subwoofer...... Electronic breeding is a hobby of mine.

Given the right conditions, they can multiply like bacteria. Throw them in a cupbord one day, next day you're over run with them! Not that that's all bad. However the last think you want it the things multiplying like tribbles through your house.

You could always neuter them. Maybe we should figure out of to do that before we reproduce. Anyone tried cloning? Maybe they need a specific temperature to.. hmm... "get thier groove on".

No dude, you have to tune them to the same frequency.

Actually, cloning is a VERY bad idea, didn't you ever hear of the "sixth day violation". The government would come and take all of the tuners if I cloned them. I have also heard that if you clone a tuner module too many times, instead of picking up the "intelligence" in the FM frequencies, they only pick up side band transmissions, and sometimes even short wave. I *THINK* the reason that the two tuners I have aren't mating is because one of them, which I have dubbed "Prissy" was one that I bought off of ebay for 400 dollars. This one is definitly female. She won't go anywhere near the male tuner that was gotten from a flea market in New Jersey (which I call Joey) for 49 dollars. Prissy keeps complaining that Joey is from bad stock and that he has bad reception. She also muttered something about him having a stubby antenna with 3dB of gain or somthing, I dunno.
