Hi guys, I wondered if anyone can offer any help
I just got my MKII and am delighted but Emplode freezes and doesn't respond mid upload. I have only managed to get around 300 tracks in so far. My PC still works OK it's just emplode that seems to be the problem. I am uploading via USB using the proper power supply and cable and running version 1.03 of Emplode and player software version 1.02
Any help much appreciated as I can't unleash the full potential of my machine! Thanks

The latest stable release of software is 1.03 on both emplode and the player, try going to that.

In terms of uploading, 1.02 and 1.03 should be more or less equivalent. And they should be stable, even for large uploads. So the problem is either at the PC end or the player end. If the problem is at the player end, I would suspect this problem.

If you can, get a log file from emplode by activating logging just before the upload begins (it's in the options).

It's worse than that now.....
Emplode 1.03 was freezing uploading
I installed player software to "car2-consumer-V2.00-beta7.upgrade" OK but now emplode1.03 says the player software is too new for emplode to support and to go download a newer version of emplode from empeg.com
I have a choice of 2 versions other than emplode1.03
car-emplode-v2.00-beta7a.zip and 11.zip but neither of them will unzip properly stating 1155: File C:\WINDOWS\TEMP\INSTALL3\Rioemplode.msi not found

What versions of player and emplode software do you use?

Now I have changed the player software I can't access the player at all to downgrade again! Bah!

You must have the same version of both player software and emplode...

Anyone know where I can get an unzipped beta7 of emplode to go with the software I now have stuck on my empeg?
It's so annoying, I can't use my cool machine....

Then download another copy of emplode. If that doesnt work, get another unzip program. Or, you could downgrade to 1.03 emplode and the 1.03 player software.

You probably have a corrupted download. Try using GetRight to download the file again.

Redownload and make sure you have admin rights in order to install emplode.

Winzip was looking for an msi file under the wrong name so I rebamed it and it loaded OK
Now enjoying 2364 tracks on in my Empeg!
