I think it would be nice to be able to select or 'mark' more than one artist/song/genre/etc to the current playlist at a time. Rather than having to select one artist, add it, go back, select another artist, add it, etc.

It would be a great feature to just scroll through the artist list once, marking all the ones to add to the list at one time.

I just did exactly what you asked to do, no problems at all, using standard Windows conventions (ctrl to multi-select).

I selected four artists simultaneously, and dragged them, at the same time, onto a playlist. They all got added to that playlist.

Don't see the problem?

I'll draw a picture of what I did.

Here's what I did.

1) Open up the playlists tree.

2) Open up the artists tree.

3) With the artists tree selected and the artists list visible in the right-hand pane, Hold down Ctrl and select multiple artists.

4) Use the scroll bar on the left-hand pane to scroll the desired playlist into view.

5) Hold down Ctrl and drag the selected artists onto the desired playlist.

Unless of course you meant when using the search feature on the player itself to add an artist to the current running order... But that's not what you said, you said PLAYLIST and the only way to create playlists is in emplode.

Sorry about that confusion. Yes, I meant 'add artists/songs/etc. into the running order on the player'. I have gotten into the habit of calling the 'running order' on the player the 'playlist'...my mistake.
