Well maybe bug is the wrong word for it because it's more of a UI issue.
When I (keep) accidently hitting the OK button on my remote it immediately (including in radio mode) prompts me for a year. I can't make the prompt go away - i.e. a cancel button. I've tried every button on the remote (including what I think would be the correct choice: Ok with no numbers entered) and all four face plate buttons.
Option: reboot system or give it a year and then navigate back to my play list. Really annoying behavior. You need to put some way to cancel out of it in to the UI.
Thanks!

Blimey! I haven't even figured out how to make it work yet!

Erm.... '*' on the remote works for me to cancel the "enter year" dialogue...

Hmm, I'll have to go back and check that - I'm fairly sure I tried all of the buttons. Wouldn't it make more sense to hit "enter" - the OK buton - with no year and have it continue doing what it was doing?

I agree.. I use the remote without looking at the buttons (I have to look at the road you know.. =) and I caught the play by year button. I tried it again (seemed obvious to me) and nothing happened.. I'll remember the * button next time.. (Feature request, allow the buttons to be remapped, so I can use the button for something else, as I'm not going to use the play by year feature.. Little point when almost all of the music is from the last 2 years.. Play by Genre however.... =)

The Direct/OK button will do:
Play by pin Search by artist Search by title Play by year
(probably in that order) with multiple presses when we get round to adding these functions. It's basically used for direct access to particular songs/playlists/database categories - it won't just be a single use button.

Yup * sure does work. Must have missed that when working over the remote. Is there a reason why it's not pressing the OK button without any input? That seems like a much more intuitive button than the * key, unless * is planned as the universal cancel button for all of your as yet unannounced features.
Thanks Hugo!
