I'm hoping to install an empeg as a second unit in a 2000 Civic, but someone told me that there isn't actually room for two single DIN units in the dash bay. It looks like a double DIN bay, but allegedly it's sort of a 1.5 DIN size. Does anyone know if this is true?

Go to www.crutchfield.com, and enter your car and it will tell you. Im am going to guess it is double because the only cars I know of that have a 1.5 DIN are GM and Chrysler. Then again it may have the overlap that Toyota's have that will require some trimming to fit two units in.
