I should be back in my hometown, Mission Viejo, which is about 20 minutes away from Irvine. I'm only 19, so I can't take you to bars or anything unless you supply the fake , but I'd be up for meeting and stuff, and maybe picking your brain for your knowledge in programming

Aw, too bad you're not going to be in the Northern part of the state, or I'd find an excuse to take you out to dinner or something.

Well, if you could make it north to Culver City/LA on Thursday night (I won't be around on the weekend), I could show you a visual effects studio in exchange for all the Smarties and Kinder-Eggs you could smuggle across the border...
No install to show, though, I'm still hammering out some networking issues before I can rip my CD collection (the joy of having a car stereo more powerful than my home computer), so the empeg is sitting rather empty at the moment.
Cheers,

Aren't you married?
Yes, happily, for 16 years.
Buying a male acquaintance dinner doesn't mean I'm looking for a relationship.

So you don't even want to have a friendly relationship with him?
That's harsh, dude.

Of sorts.
I'll definitely take you up on the dinner thing next time I'm in the bay area (typically a couple times a year).
Cheers
