Like many of you, I'm sure, I have built up a fair amount of wires, adapters, splitters, and other various items. Currently, I have all of this stuff in some boxes and laying around. I'm getting tired of untangling RCA cables, finding that right Y-splitter with the correct connections, etc.

How do you guys organize your stuff? Any creative soutions? I don't have any of the little electronics stuff like capacitors and stuff. Just stuff like RCA cables, 1/8"-to-whatever splitters and cables, and some other assorted stuff.

So, any ideas?

A. Get a stackable tool box that has a bunch of small drawers.

B. Get one of those plastic stackable drawers. We use them here at work to organize all our cables and whatnot. They usually have like 5 drawers.

I ordered a large tackle bag using my Marlboro miles for kicks to see what I could use it for. It is now in my van being used as my tool bag. It has 4 plastic tackle boxes in it that you can change the compartments on. I love it, I can have my long screwdrivers in one compartment and small parts in others. You should be able to find plastic boxes of sorts like that to size how you need them plus you can see through them to know what is in them. Plus they wouldn't be very expensive and would stack. Wire tie the cables to keep them from getting tangled.

Just my idea.

Strange that IKEA is considered yuppish most everywhere - except here in its home land, where that is definately not the case...
