I've tried restarting my X session, with no improvement. Any suggestions appreciated.

Sounds like you either have a corrupted virtual machine install or a corrupted jemplode20.jar download. I would reinstall them. ClassFormatError means something nasty happened that shouldn't have.

What virtual machine are you using?

Mike

I'm running Blackdown Linux i386 j2sdk-1.3.1-02b.

After restarting my linux box, all seems well. Although, there were no java jobs running before the reboot. Sorry for the inconvenience.

Thanks,

Michael

Michael's box is running ReiserFS and, I think, has some bad memory (or, possibly, particularly heavy cosmic ray storms ), which is a bad combination. He's certainly had bad luck with the computer lately.

(BTW, now I've got a friend with an empeg. Woo-hoo! Now he just needs to install it.)
