Hijack v266 is out, with (hopefully) a fix for a rare condition that occurs when using more than one button input source at a time (eg. remote AND front-panel simultaneously).

Nothing else, really. Just getting into the middle of the kernel contract that's keeping me busy here. And when it's not snowing (like it did earlier today, and considerably last Sunday..), I'm out on my mountain bike or on the cliffs.. enjoying the brief spells of what we refer to as "summer" here in the G.W.N.

Regarding the 1-second delay before animating....

Honestly, if this is the only fix, I'd rather have it skip the animation sometimes rather than miss that extra 2/3 second of my custom boot logo (which follows the animation).

(Delaying the animation start also delays the animation end, which means that the custom boot logo stays on the screen that much less time before the player app starts.)

Somehow I just knew you would feel that way!

Don't worry.. this is just a trial to see if the diagnosis is correct. If you never see the problem again over the next couple of weeks, then I'll implement something a little more extensive and less intrusive.

OK, I'm cool with that. I'll keep an eye out for it.

However, when the bug happens, it's very intermittent, I hardly ever see it to begin with.

This delay might be what is causing the garbage on screen I've been seeing lately on only some animations. Right before the animation begins I see this, yet on another player with a different animation the screen stays blank.
