Of sonicblue, release the full source to the empeg/riocar? i know that the code is being used in some various products, but do u tihnk it will be held under wraps for life? or eventually they will let it go when its no longer being used by any other products still being produced.

If you're talking about the far future - i.e. too far ahead to predict - then the answer is "who knows!"

I don't see why our codebase would be retired as long as we're writing streaming media applications. The latest version (not used in any products yet) is already way more advanced than the current car stuff - but fully integrated into the codebase. The car player will get some of that functionality in due course.
