Hi,

Personally I don't pay much attention to the plays counter and I wish there were a feature to kill it from the info display (without hacking up the player exe), but I spotted something that no one seems to have reported.

I just loaded a new album onto my Empeg (2.0-b11+hijack) and some of the tracks already had a Plays value of 2, even though this was the first time this album had *ever* been uploaded to my empeg (freshly ripped). Some others had 1.

I know this is kinda vague, but I thought I best report it anyway

This was mentioned elsewhere on the BBS recently. I think the "Plays" counter is left over from a previous FID. See, the FIDs get re-used after you delete a song or playlist...

Any of the Empeg guys want to comment on this one? Isn't this on the internal bug list already as "fixed" or something?

Can anyone confirm that Beta 13 still does this? I can't get it to happen now.

I can't confirm that bug specifically Peter, but I can confirm that I've had tracks registered at 0 played when I know for a fact that they have played atleast once.
