Okay, I just tried dbPowerAmp, and it works, but I've got some problems with it:

1) The RA codec seems to do a worse job of decoding the file than simply playing it back in RealPlayer. Even when I convert it to a wave file (no re-compression), the resulting file has different audio characteristics than what I hear when listening in RealPlayer. The dbPowerAmp-decoded file is tinnier, raspier, and seems to have more compression artifacts than when I listen to the original in RealPlayer. I made sure that it wasn't the EQ in WinAmp or in RealPlayer that was the culprit.

2) The decoding is slow. In fact, it's so slow that I wonder if it's real-time (i.e., 5-minute audio clip takes five minutes to decode).

Anyone notice the same thing?
